If only one could be happy ALL. THE. TIME.

I’ve tried.

I just ended up with addictions, repressed emotions manifesting as migraines and other dysfunctions. (too many to list here)

Happy all the time.  No.

A strong deep capacity to connect to JOY.  Yes.

JOY = A sense of well-being

For almost twenty years, I got to have lunch once a week with my mentor.

She lives at at 98% JOY level.

I’m not there however, I know some great tricks and am committed to practicing.

It is Contentment. Peace. Thankfulness. Ease.

Or angry. Or depressed. Or annoyed. It means you can "digest" these emotions and move on.

And not nearly far enough as far as I am concerned as an overthinker. There are things you can DO though.
